This skimmer does a decent job for a hang on the back style skimmer.  For our review of the AquaC Nano Remora Protein Skimmer, some people have reported that they expected the skimmer to be smaller since it is advertised as a nano protein skimmer but it is the same exact skimmer as the regular Remora with 6-8 inches cut off the bottom to shorten it.

Some merchants bundle this nano protein skimmer with the Maxi-Jet 900.  Many people have reported better results using the AquaC Nano Remora with a Maxi Jet 1200.  You many want to buy the skimmer and a maxi-jet 1200 separately.

Two additional items to mention; it takes about a week to really get the unit running.  During this time you will have little foam but a lot of noise.  This foam ramps up and the noise settles down after the break in time.
